The League
constitution will be ratified at the Northern Alliance AGM during the summer.
Assuming a three-up, three-down scenario – which is subject to proposal by the
League and confirmation by the clubs at a vote – Rothbury can expect a highly
competitive season next term in what is generally regarded as one of the
tightest Divisions in the Alliance. The First Division may shape up something
like this:
Blyth
Spartans Reserves
Bedlington
FC
Hexham
North
Shields Athletic
Prudhoe
Youth Club FC Seniors
Hebburn
Town U23
FC United
of Newcastle
Forest Hall
Wallsend
Boys Club
Felling
Magpies
ROTHBURY
Seaton Burn
Gosforth
Bohemians
Whitburn
& Cleadon
Whitley Bay
A
Whitley Bay
SC
However, as with everything at the grassroots level, this is
just a rough guesstimate ahead of the AGM with the possibility of clubs
leaving, new sides joining and the FA confirming everything.
