Rothbury
boss Dan Herron is urging the followers of the Coquetdale side to turn out in
their numbers to help roar the team towards promotion.
The Reds
face third-placed Whitburn & Cleadon at Armstrong Park on Saturday and
Herron is hoping that the weather will hold out ahead of the important fixture.
“We’re hoping for a big crowd,” he said.
“We’ve got two big home games coming up
and really want the fans to get behind the lads in the promotion race.”
Rothbury were 3-1 winners at the
visitors back in January, but Herron is expecting another exciting game
which should present plenty entertainment for those making their way down.
“It’ll be a demanding game,” he
admitted.
“Whitburn were well organised and
disciplined when we played down there, so we’ll have to work hard to get
anything.”
The Reds have no injury or suspension
worries at present and Herron will select his side following training this
week.
